Voltcase - 12 Years ComingWell?: It’s no secret that the band Kyuss have been hugely influential on a lot of current bands, although very few have managed to capture “that” expansive desert rock sound to a high level of competence. Step forward, Bomb The Sun. The six colossal tracks here are spread over a whopping 45 minutes, highlight for me being “Not Waving, But Drowning” which sounds like it could have come straight from the groundbreaking “Sky Valley” album but there’s not a bad song on this disc and fans of the aforementioned should be dropping everything and getting themselves a copy of this immediately.
