Hi Wednesday, welcome to Voltcase - how are things?!

Things are great.

So, how would you describe your sound to a stranger in three words?

Smelly, loud, & dirty.

You're touring the UK at the moment, how do you like the place? And how about the audiences over here - traditionally British crowds are supposed to be tougher to crack than American crowds, do you find that's the case?

The British audience has always been so great for us and they pour their hearts into it as much as we do. I have had no problem with the British audience, and lately the American audience has been overwhelming and giving the UK a run for their money.

You've also arranged a bunch of séances to accompany the tour in traditional 'Most Haunted' fashion. Are you a sceptic or a believer? And are you a fan of the TV show of the same name?

Yes, i did a few of the seances and they were interesting. I'm still a skeptic but I had a really good time with it. The Oxford castle seance was really cool, and I would be into doing this again.

For anyone out there just starting out in a band, is there one piece of invaluable advice that you could give them to help them on their way?

If your not committed or willing to take a roller coaster ride of ups and downs then get out now. This is a slimy dirty business and it takes a lot of will power to keep a positive outlook. However, I wouldn't have it any other way, this what I've grown accustomed too.

We recently reviewed your latest album, "Skeletons", which is possibly your most revealing album to date. Do you find that writing songs about your depression and personal issues is therapeutic in some way, and that by putting words in songs you're almost exorcising some personal demons?

Yes, this album became like therapy for me. It was like exorcising a lot of the bad blood out of my system. It had to happen this way and I'm very happy with the outcome of this record, it pulled me out of a dark place.

Going back to touring, what's the most extreme rock-star type story that's happened to you while on tour? Anything that would shock even our most unshockable readers?

Some fans sent me syringes on our last German date and asked for me to drain my blood and send them my blood for a necklace.

We're always on the lookout for new bands and talent here at Voltcase, are there any up-and-coming artists that you think we should check out?

Do you hate these kind of questions? Yes I do.

I think it means and old wooden ship, or a whales vagina.
